Have you ever had dinner in a Japanese restaurant? Did you want to eat a juicy, colorful sushi roll, but noticed that the menu wasn't for vegans? Meet the Japanese restaurant that is serving o n l y vegan dishes, and for the first time in your vegan life, there is a restaurant that will give you a good experience.
Sushi is a Japanese dish made of rice in vinegar combined with various ingredients such as raw or smoked fish, edible algae and vegetables. But not all people like the typical sushi: some don't like sushi that contains raw fish.
"Green Roll" is a restaurant in Tel Aviv owned by chef Nitai Shavit. Every vegan that likes sushi knows what he will tell the waitress when she comes: a vegetarian combination, only. When you visit in "Green Roll" you have a selection! All the dishes in the restaurant are completely vegan and with a good reasonably priced.
You will be happy to see that you are making the most of the diverse vegan offerings, combining ingredients such as coconut, pineapple and beets with sushi. Each week, a special and changing roll will be chosen, which also incorporates surprising elements. You can also request squeezed juice instead of oranges, apples or carrots. There are also beers - Israeli, Japanese, and Thai. The prices are very fair and the dishes are Large and delicious.
The place is small and cozy, located on the corner of Allenby and Montefiore Streets in the center of Tel Aviv and the design is elegant and minimalist. I heartily recommend to all lovers of sushi :vegans, vegetarians and eaters to visit and enjoy homemade sushi.
