Heaven on Earth

When was the last time you took a break and went on a vacation? If the answer is "too long ago", let me tell you a little bit about beautiful Thailand- the perfect place for the perfect vacation!

The kingdom of Thailand (formerly known as Siam) is located in Southeast Asia and is well known for its wild nature, beautiful beaches and great parties. No wonder it has become one of the most favorite places to the Israeli tourist.

Starting with the north, the town of Pai is a must go. This small yet beautiful place offers an option of renting motorbikes and exploring the countryside area all by yourself (for only 20 shekels a day!) or renting a car with a driver for a whole day that will take you to all the cool places around. At night there are open bars all around and different stands selling fruit shakes, street food and souvenirs.

Moving all the way to the south there is the island of Pangan (Koh Pangan), a well-known island that offers the best relaxation experience. During the day, Koh Pangan has to offer some of the most beautiful beaches where you can just sit down and have a refreshing fruit shake while you're dipping your feet in the clear water. Once a month at night, Koh Pangan hosts the best party in Thailand- the "fool moon party" which takes place, as the name suggests, every fool moon. At this crazy party, you can have your body painted with cool 'glow-in-the-dark' paint, dance until sunrise to the sound of great music and drink (responsibly!!) all kinds of alcohol. Just make sure to book your hotel well in advance.
